Babytoefu started with my love for layering necklaces — the more excessive, the better. I loved the look of tangled chains and lots of little details, but I still wanted everything to feel considered and cohesive rather than like one big mess.
I wanted to make jewellery that was fun, playful and full of personality, without feeling harsh, heavy or too intense. Because honestly, a necklace can be so much more than one little pendant on a chain — the necklace can be the whole outfit.
Every Babytoefu piece is made from hypoallergenic stainless steel, so it won't tarnish, change colour or react with your skin. It also lets us create the kind of detailed statement necklaces that would usually cost a crazy amount, at a much cuter price — so all you cuties can layer up, accessorise excessively and express yourself without breaking the bank xxx
